Brown the meat, then drain. Add oleo. Stir in the onions and cook until you can see through them. Add flour, stir and cook two to three minutes. Add garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and mix thoroughly. Add milk and stir until it thickens. Serve over bread. Brown hamburger. Add beef stock powder, flour, salt, pepper and then cook. Add Worcestershire sauce. Add milk and stir over low heat until thickened. Serve on burnt toast.

ConfigSafe includes a DOS-based recovery tool that will allow you to restore to a selected snapshot. It will restore the registry and configuration files. This utility is called SOS. To use it, boot to the command prompt, then change directory to the ConfigSafe directory (usually, this is C:\CFGSAFE). Run SOS.EXE, and follow the instructions on the screen. When you have complete the restore process, be sure to reboot your machine. The SOS.

A recipe must contain ingredients and the directions for assembling those ingredients. A recipe may contain your suggestions or comments relevant to that recipe. From time to time the Lead Moderator may decide to post an article explaining a recipe or technique in more detail. For this newsgroup, a recipe is defined as a list of ingredients with a set of instructions on how to put those ingredients together.

Salsas are usually mixtures of acid and low-acid ingredients; they are an example of an acidified food. The specific recipe, and sometimes preparation method, will determine if a salsa can be processed in a boiling water canner or a pressure canner. A process must be scientifically determined for each recipe. To can salsa at home, use our recipes for Hot Chile Salsa or Mexican Tomato Sauce. Your county Extension agent may have additional tested recipes for salsas.

They are checked for stylistic and subject content only and for the most part they are posted AS they have been received. It it appears to be a valid, cookable recipe, we post it. They are intended for the enjoyment of the reading public.

Use plain text, not html. Avoid special characters such as fractions or degree signs. These become corrupted and we must guess at their meaning when we edit the recipe. List your ingredients in one column. This newsgroup is particularly popular with blind readers and one column is much easier to understand. Chack yur spellling. Use measurements that are widely understood. For example, when someone uses "a stick of oleo" as an ingredient we get messages asking how big a stick is and what is oleo.

When we receive recipes, we look at them to see if they are in the proper format. If they are, they are generally posted the same day. If they are not, they must be edited. This delays posting. Also remember we are people with lives, families, jobs and unanticipated life events which may interfere with moderation

Many recipes passed down through the years or found in older cookbooks do not include instructions for processing. The foods are usually canned by the open kettle method, sealed and stored. Foods prepared in this manner present a serious health risk — particularly low acid foods. To minimize the risk of food spoilage, all high acid foods should be processed in a water bath canner or pressure canner and all low acid foods in a pressure canner.

If you do have an account, sign in and your selected recipes will be added to your Recipe Box. If you do not have an account, you must click the "Sign Up" link to register. You may also register and sign in by clicking the "My Recipe Box" link at the top right of every page.

To search for recipes, type a keyword into the search box at the top of any page and click the "Search" button. Be sure that the "Recipes" tab above the search box is selected. You may search for an ingredient (chicken, beef, pasta, etc.), a type of dish (casserole, meatloaf, cookie, etc.) or a Food Network chef’s name (Rachael Ray, Paula Deen, Alton Brown, etc.). Be as general or specific as you like. You will receive a full list of recipes associated with that keyword.

We would love to hear your suggestions for new menu items. We do not, however, accept recipe submissions.

We love to receive recipes from our members. To submit your recipe, please use our article submission form.

Recipes are created and edited the same as menus. However, one thing to note is that once a recipe has been added to your food log, you will no longer be able to edit the details for that recipe. To create a recipe, first click the appropriate Edit button on the menus & recipes page. Use the form to create a new recipe name. The name of the recipe will appear in the list below. Then click the recipe name you wish to edit. Adding foods to your recipe is just like adding foods to your food log.

If the recipe has not been logged to a day, click on the recipe name to be taken to the edit page. You cannot edit a recipe if it has already been used in a log because this would change the data everywhere the recipe had been used. However, you can "copy" the recipe and edit (new name, new ingredients, etc.) this new version.

While we would love to hear what you think about any of our current menu items or suggestions for new items, we cannot accept recipes.

It is a huge 5 CD compilation of unreleased and demo tracks by various members of PJ. Thanks to Bill Crean for the info and track listings: The sound is top quality on everything except EV home demos. These are poor quality, although I've heard worse. But those songs are so great you won't care. Note that track #5 is what we now call Betterman...Bill This 5 cd box set retails ~$95-$125. It also contains a booklet with pictures and brief bio of the band.

The primary method is through the graphical user interface (GUI) that runs on the control computer. The GUI is used to load a play list and allows the user to click through the visualizations in the play list. The GUI has VCR like controls to manipulate the animations showing on the sphere. The GUI is really just TCL/TK script that can be customized by end-users (given that that the end-user has the appropriate skills to do so).
