Was it fun? Would you do it again?

Sierra High Route in a Day FAQ
Oh yeah, I had a great time! A little overloaded with aprehension early on, and there was more than a little "let's get this over with" towards the end, but overall it was a joy and a thrill to be out there. Also, I had the rare treat of being able to do those deep-backcountry descents without 40+ lbs of gear on my back (yes, on the forgiving snow that's common in the springtime Sierra, backcountry skis like the Karhu Catamounts that I used do telemark quite nicely).

Yes. Heavens yes. We only do it because we love it. It doesn't pay as well as a national commercial, or a film or television show, but it's so fun. Cast members will often try to make each other laugh.

Now for fun I am exploring New York City and seeing as much theater as I can. My little four-pound Yorkie Lucy and I go for long walks every day I'm not working. She's become a real City Dog! Also going to acting classes is one of my favorite things - I do it every chance I get - three times a week when possible. When I lived in San Francisco I took up mountain biking. I have a Trek Multi-track mountain bike.

Another good source is the fun-at-cims mailing list, which keeps students informed about various events and gives them the opportunity to find others with similar interests. In the past it's been used to organize athletics teams, music outings, chess tournaments, etc.

is our adventure game system. It's like a story, only every page can be written by a different person, and you're allowed to add your own parts too. Our stories tend to focus on TFs because we happen to enjoy those, but other adventure games exist that focus on other things. There's the Addventure, which is a more generic adventure storyline and the Unending BE (the "Unending Breast Expansion") which is definitely not suitable for minors, to name a few.

Ha!  Good question.  Well, sure ... sometimes.  Like anything in Life that takes effort, there are good times and crummy times.  Immensely good times ... and immensely crummy times. A spiritual master once made the blunt suggestion to learn spiritual (or inner) discipline at the earliest possible moment in Life.  Then, all education, recreation, art, career development, and Life exploration proceeds more smoothly and fully.

Does it Hurt? & Is it Fun?

ADD Centre Web Site: FAQ
NO, it doesn't hurt and YES, people find it interesting. Monitoring is fairly simple process. It involves placing two electrodes on the head. The wires from these two sensors transmit the electrical information from the scalp to an instrument which analyses the brainwaves. This information is fed into a computer and the person is able to see their brainwaves on a computer screen. The "Trainer" helps the person understand the wave patterns and how to achieve focused concentration.

People on Thiaoouba seem very serious. What do they do for fun ?

Thiaoouba - Frequently Asked Questions
They have fun most of the time. They look like they receive good news every few seconds. Also, they live as long as they wish, looking 20 the whole time. Imagine what they can learn and how much fun they can have living for a million years or so. They have a lot of time to relax, meditate, swim in the ocean, sunbathe etc.. I guess their favorite is joining the Source of Consciousness - getting out of the physical body altogether. Food is fun only for some of us, and it is really a low-level fun.
