The recipe submission page is in the Community area. Before submitting a recipe, we encourage you to take the time to search the site to see if an identical recipe is already listed. This can save you the trouble of submitting a duplicate recipe that cannot be published. To submit a recipe for publication on Allrecipes.com you should click on the Community link at the top of any page. Click on the Submit a Recipe link on the left side of the screen under the heading Recipe Exchange.

You must first choose the journal in which you would like to publish. You can access an alphabetical list of all of the journals APA publishes. This list is also available organized by subject area. Once you have established which journal you wish to use, go to the homepage for that particular journal. Yes, we do accept articles. However, they must comply with our format- short, concise articles providing practice information on one of our topic categories. Send news items about chapter activities, alumni events, community projects, achievements, etc., with pictures if you have them. This can be done by any brother but is the responsibility of the eminent correspondent of each chapter. Digital images must be shot or scanned at 300 dpi (dots per square inch) to be published.

Our acquisitions editor is always looking for new talent by reading the historical and literary journals and attending professional meetings. If you are involved in such pursuits, you may have met him; but if not, and if you have a manuscript you think would be right for Signature Books and if you have an established publication history (articles in journals, short stories in anthologies, and so on), please send a one-page letter outlining your thesis or plot accompanied by a vita.

Intrepid Media is different from other magazines. There is no submission process other than signing up and posting your column to the Gallery. Tell all your friends about it. You'll get them to read it as well as other Intrepid readers. We're constantly pulling columns out of the Gallery for a run in the Features section.

A Publication Item is a file (e.g. text file, image file, html file, pdf file, MS word file, MS Access database file) that resides in the KATnet publications database and which can be accessed and linked to other items. Files uploaded into the Publications Area can be used to make a wide range of formatted information available on the site. These files can be used to supplement the basic text entered in other area such as News, Events, etc.

This is an excellent question. Many conferences require the PDF to be created to specific standards. The reason for this is to insure the PDF can be re-purposed for CD-ROM, print, and archival use. By creating the PDF to a specific standard, it insures it will be viewed and will print exactly as it did when originally created. When you are online, you are viewing a "cached" version of the PDF.
